Riddle me this, riddle me that

"What is the beginning of eternity, the end of time and space, the beginning of every end and the end of every race?" The Riddler

So by now you might have deduced that I am a massive Batman fan. Naturally this means some of my outfits verge into classic Batman villain territory.

Batman villains are amoung my favourite of all the comic book villains. I always thought The Riddler was really fun. So I decided to pull together a bit of a homage to the the man who attempts to challenge The Batman intellectually.

This dress is another Black Milk Clothing creation and was released as part of their Batman collection, you can still purchase it as part of the Day and Night DC Collection, it's pretty cool, my version is the reversible style.

Like all the Black Milk Clothing items it is excellent quality. What makes Black Milk different to other shops who sell this style of clothing is that although the fabric is stretchy when it stretches it doesn't go white when it pulls. Most of the other cheaper options lose their colour as it stretches across the body.

Sometimes it's worth spending a bit extra, you do get what you pay for in this style.

Black Milk clothes wash incredibly well, the colours are really rich and it stays between washes without fading. You do have to be careful not to snag anything on the fabric otherwise you get pulls and they can't be fixed so do treat it delicately and don't wash it with anything that might catch on the dress (like zips etc).

As far as other items go you really need to keep it pretty simple. The dress is pretty outlandish so if you try and crazy anything else up you will start to look at bit over the top. I usually wear a black jacket (because I get cold) this one i've had for years, you will see it pop up many of my Batman themed outfits.

Fandom Fashion can get quite expensive so always try and re-use items where you can.

In winter time I usually don some black leggings and boots with this dress!

The shoes are also a pair i've owned for a while, I purchased them from Alannah Hill a few years ago and I absolutely love them. I thought cut out shape was pretty cool and felt very riddler-y, plus I get bored of wearing solid black sandals and peeptoes all the time; sometimes you gotta mix it up!

The shipping experience with Black Milk Clothing is fantastic. Being an Australian company shipping is crazy fast and I've never had an issue with any of my purchases. You may notice a lot of my clothes are from Black Milk, and that is because their stuff is good, reliable and they meet my nerdy needs. Definitely sign up to their mailing list though, some items are limited edition and you don't want to miss out!
